Emma Phillips Society
Linking the Past with Our Future
Over a century ago, Emma Phillips bequeathed four acres of property at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, which is now the home of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She began a tradition of giving that continues today and has made Children's Hospital and eloquent reminder of what one person's planning can bring an entire century's children. It is fitting that we honor those who have chosen to remember this wonderful institution in the future in the name of one who has been an integral part of our past.
The Emma Phillips Society honors and recognizes those who have included Children's Hospital Los Angeles in their estate plans by making a gift to the hospital as a bequest in their will or living trust, or have made planned gift commitments, such as gift annuities or charitable remainder trusts, remainder interest gifts in personal real estate, life insurance policies or qualified retirement plans. The Emma Phillips Society will be pleased to welcome you and acknowledge your generous planned or deferred gift arrangement to benefit Children's Hospital.
You are encouraged to consult with your personal tax, financial and/or legal advisors to consider how best to help your family and the children served by Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
